Growing up in his dad’s paint stores, Kevin Gemeroy knew that technology was often a challenge for small businesses. Founded in 2000, Dynamic Computing reflects Kevin’s desire to help great organizations harness the power of IT to transform their company.

Over the past two decades, IT has changed, and we’ve evolved with it, embracing technology and automation in everything we do. What hasn’t changed is our commitment to doing it right. That means getting to know you and your business on a deep level to deliver elevated IT tailored to your needs with a highly personal experience.

First Steps and Giant Leaps

We’re building the premier managed IT services company in the Pacific Northwest, and we won’t stop until we get there. Here’s a glimpse into our journey.

2000

An Idea Becomes Reality

Kevin founded Dynamic Computing in September of 2000 while attending the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. He recruited two of his good friends and classmates to join the cause, and in June of 2001, we officially launched.

2004

Moving On Up

By 2004, we’d outgrown our shoebox sized office in Lower Queen Anne.  It was time to move on up...the hill to Fremont. We’d grown the business to four employees and 13 managed IT clients and were focused on continued growth and progress.

2010

Time to Grow Again

After hunkering down during the Great Recession (and thankfully surviving it in one piece), we were ready to get moving again by late 2010.  We expanded to a new location in downtown Fremont with a little room for our team of six to grow to serve our 30+ managed IT clients. 

2014

A Series of Big Changes

For us, 2014 was a year we really got moving. After a series of major operational changes to scale our team to our growth, we capped off the year with a move to our beautiful brand-new office in Belltown and implemented the ConnectWise service management platform.

2020

Back to Working From Home Again!

As you might expect, 2020 was a challenging year for the DC team. Seattle had the first confirmed Covid cases in the country, and we shut down fast and hard. As an essential business, we kept operating throughout the lockdowns and quickly pivoted to a remote-first approach to work that continues today.

2022

A Breath of Fresh Air

As the pandemic and restrictions eased, we made the decision to downsize our offices and relocate to Downtown Seattle’s Waterfront. While we might not be in the office five days a week anymore, our new office provides the team with a home base and easy access for a variety of transportation methods. We enjoy the open space and fresh air (our windows actually open!) that our new location on the waterfront provides.
